Patrick Marleau played more NHL games than any other player in history over 23 seasons in the NHL! Although he did play 2 seasons for the Toronto Maple Leafs (2017-19), and 8 whole games for the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2019, Marleau is best known as a San Jose Shark, where he holds most major San Jose Sharks team records including most games played, most goals scored and most points in team history. The Sharks retired his Jersey in February, 2023.
